State of the Oscar Race and Christmas-Adjacent Movies (with Brad Lenz)

In this episode of The Screen Mash Podcast, Barrett and Brad break down the state of the Oscar race. Last week's Golden Globe and Critics Choice nominations have been the biggest milestones thus far. That, alongside an all the regional critics associations nominations/wins, have created a clearer picture of which films and performances are Oscar locks and which are vulnerable. 

 

Then, they discuss their top 3 "Christmas-adjacent movies," being movies that are related to Christmas either visually or thematically, but wouldn't be classified as a Christmas movie, including some major blockbuster franchises.
